Ferg, I'm watching two of your auctions, I hope to win both of them in the next hour or so. That would be neat for Peyton vs Eli thing in the superbowl but being a Cowboy fan I cant root for the Giants, not even a little
lol, yeah, I was watching something about the Lions on tv as I was typing and I typed Lions instead of Chiefs.....oops! I've edited my original post to make sense now.....
I am happy for Brad Johnson. Being from the Tampa Bay area and "semi-rooting" for the Bucs I always liked Brad. It was a shame the way "Chuckie" benched him last year and treated unjustly. He was just looking for a way to give Brad his walking papers. Matt
Glad some of you are happy about the Cowboys win. Just so you know, the only reason they won is because if the Chiefs would've won, I would have won our weekly football pool. People don't believe that I can influence the outcome of a sporting event based on who I pick to win, but it's been proven time and time again, with the KC/Dallas game being the latest.
And it's never a shellacking, it's always agonizing. You know, like a holding penalty on a 4th down incompletion that would have sealed the victory, not just to allow a winning TD, but also to burn off another minute in the meantime. And then, following an incredibly unlikely long completion, a missed FG. At least it didn't go into OT.
OK, I'm done crying now. My Lions just failed on a 4th and an inch, but I've learned (took me about 39 years). I took the Packers! The only chance the Lions would have had would have been if the Chiefs would have won . . .
Oh, and by the way, if Philly would have beaten the Cowboys on MNF a few weeks back when McNabb was picked off for a TD with a few minutes to go, followed by another Dallas TD, I would've won the pool that week too . . .
<<detroitfan2------Can you please pick the the Redskins next week vs. the Cowboys >>
<<and pick the seahawks over the colts...when they play >>
It would be my pleasure guys. Consider it a Christmas gift. I'm pretty good at impacting college bowl games played two thousand miles from my home as well.
I'm in the zone too. I just saw on SportsCenter that the Texans missed a fairly easy field goal on the last play of the game. The Texans were my upset special. If they'd have won, well you know the rest . . .

Congrats to my Giants for making the field goal this time.
GO BIG BLUE!!!!!!!!!!
edited to correct team name
<< <i>The Lions had a tough loss today after a nice comeback. The kicker really flubbed that one.

The Lions are playing the Packers right now on ESPN. Are you thinking of another team?
