Danish [no, Swedish] milk token?

I got this item as part of a larger lot of mostly-US stuff. As far as I can tell, it seems to be a Danish milk token. It "looks old". Does this have any value? Can anyone tell me anything about it?

Obverse reads: GRÄNGEBERGS MEJERIFÖRENING around 1 Lit.
Reverse reads: CC SPOR[hole]ONG & Co / STOC[hole]OLM

Is that a royal monogram in the center of what you called the reverse? If it is, that could be used to narrow the date down.

Unless it's a company monogram of some sort. I can't really make it out.

It has a late 19th/early 20th century look to it, from the style of the thing. My WAG would be WW1 era, perhaps.

    It's Swedish:

    i) You can tell by the characters; e.g. if it were Danish or Norwegian, the "Ö" would be "Ø"
ii) Stoc[hole]olm is probably "Stockholm", i.e. the capital

So it appears it is indeed a milk token for 1 Litre of milk. The obverse reads "Dairy association of Grängesberg (a fairly small town in central Sweden)", reverse is probably the company that made the token

It's nice having somebody Scandinavian on the forums, ain't it?

But if y'all wanna see where Zot really shines, you should see some of his metal detecting travelogue posts on the MD Forum- I love the pictures.

Ah, yes. Stockholm, Sweden. Well, I never claimed any prizes for my geography, but that was worse than most. I've updated the thread title.

The logo in the center isn't much clearer in person, but it doesn't appear to be a royal emblem. The central monogram appears to be an intertwined CCS, which would correspond to the company's name.

Thanks, for the translation and other info!

I looked into this a bit more.. The company that made the token is "C.C. Sporrong & Co", and that is what the CCS on the reverse refers to.
They've made lots of various tokens as well as medals, pins, etc..
I think the reverse is a type introduced in the mid 1880's, meaning that it wouldn't be any older than that at least (which would be in line with LM's assessment as well) image
