Don't blame ya for wantin' one. I've always thought they were neat, myself- something about a mintmarked trime that just seems cool. I like O-mint coins anyway.

    I've never had the '51-O 3c.

Don't tell anyone (hah!), but I'm thinking of starting a Dansco 7070 type set with only obsolete mints if the coin was struck in O, CC, S (the old ones) - then otherwise mintmarked if possible in the series. The trime is interesting to me. For the mintmarks, I'm put them in mintmark in front.

  • I picked one up last week at a flea market...and a fellow member graded it for me at fine,
although I have little idea of the value
    it's in my type set..

Excellent! I really like the idea. image

Gonna do the additional gold page with C and D goldies in it? image

If you need the 7070 album, I have two new ones still in plastic, I believe. No gold pages, though.
