Couple More questions, 1874 GB Shilling & Token

Why is there a 2 above the date on the shilling..??
And does anyone know anything about the quarter sized token..??

    I believe the "2" is the die number...

    The 2 is the die number, but I don't have any idea if it's a valuable variety (probably not). Sorry but I have no idea about the token.
