Went out today determined to find something good!!!Decided to go hit one of are older park's that we have thinned out perty good of old target's.Found out there was a few we missed
Started of the morning with a merc and then with in an hour I had a rosie after about 3 1/2 hr's I ended with another merc and a wheatie.
Was going to head home,but had the itchin to keep hunting
So went and hit a spot where they had spread out some old dirt from a demo.
Started hunting that,finding the usual old copper scrap and stuff when I finall got a real good signal.It was hitting in the IH range on my screen,so I figured that was what it was going to be.Boy was I wrong!!
Dug the plug to locate it,which took me a few minute's to find since I didn't realize my target was so small.
When I did locate it,I was wondering what it was until I removed it out of the clump of dirt it was in.Right off the bat I saw the lady sitting there,it was a seated half dime!!!!!WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO,my first seated half dime!!Man that was an awesome find for me.
Here is a group shot with today's find's and some stuff I have found over the last few week's.
There are some beer stopper's,brass hook,some kind of chain thingy,buckle,tiny beer keg,chinese cache coin,41s,45s merc's,50 rosie and the seated half dime 1841o.

Thank's for the replie's and Ric there's the close up of the front,will have to wait till tommorrow to post the back,as the site I use for photo's is down for maintainance.
Silversanta the merc's and rosie were found in a park,they were probally about 5 to 6 inch's deep.
The half dime was at a site where they had spread out some old dirt that came from a demo and it was maybe a 1 inch deep.Demo's are alot differrent then park's as the dirt get's moved around,so if a target had been deep it could all of sudden become shallow.HH,Tom

Maybe so, but I will have convince the mass, that I am not a repesenting the
light side first.
Oh, and you can't fool me. Now I can see that chip where it fell out of the bezel...
so sorry, this will need to be placed in the jewelry category for Dec. finds...
