This is a nice 1940s run of 1 francs that I'm not sure I'll keep for my personal collection. I prefer focusing on older dates. Many came from a seller who had them as choice unc, only a couple were graded as gems by him. image

The coins were handled by Don and we expect a few more, I'll post grades as soon as he'll PM them to me.A nice Ionian among them too. We also sent a few coins to PCGS, these are all for my personal collection,I'm a PCGS fan but NGC world sells better.Their grades however, are not expected before 2006.

I just sent some to PCGS and they rec'd them on 11/22/05 and I just got my grades (not very happy with them), but they were sent on the express service. Very close to the 7 day turn around time. BTW, very nice grades on your NGC submissionimage-3Mark

Congrats on the grades on the coins; I'm sure they're essentially flawless beauties!

No, they were German coins. PCGS still does express and collectors club for foreign, but I do not believe that they will guarantee them.3Mark

My mistake. It really is MS63 BN

The Swiss 1955 1/2 Franc is SP68 not MS 68. Another mistake on my part. It sucks getting old.image
