I'm back! Sort of...

Hey guys,

You know how it is. You say you're going to give it up, but it keeps calling your name. Sure, you can go a week or two without the voices. After a few months, you still hear them, but you've gotten good at ignoring them. Your senior year of college comes up and the money you used to spend on cards is spent on other items of importance. Over a year goes by and you think you have it completely under control. Then your roommate starts selling some random stuff on eBay. The bug bites once again. I come back not so reluctantly, but a little embarrassed. I have the itch that needs to be scratched. I looked on ebay and found a 87 card lot of some graded Nolan Ryans. Go big or go home, right?

Senior year went by faster than I imagined it would. I started work about 4 months ago. I have a little extra income and a bit of free time. Bad combination.

I've been away too long and look forward to reading recent posts and seeing what's happening. Just one minor question though:

When I started my "sabbatical," I left a nice pile of Nolan Ryans to be graded. My membership ran out and I haven't looked back. I have about 20 that I'm not too concerned about the grades since they are relatively rare for a guy like me who doesn't have many shows in his area (not to mention cheaper to buy raw). Are there any shops/companies/individuals out there that offer their services to people who don't have a membership? Is this against the rules? I'm a pseudo-newbie -- I haven't been around in over a year. Go easy on me!

Glad to be back. My name is Justin, and I'm a graded-Nolan-Ryan-aholic.

P.S. I'm not about to start reading that 2600-post Nolan Ryan thread image

P.P.S. Just kidding. What was I thinking saying I wasn't going to read that?
Currently collecting the Nolan Ryan Basic and Topps Player sets.

You can send in cards to PSA via an authorized dealer.

and through a program that PSA and EBAY have too. (not sure if that is still active though)

Check the web site for PSA authorized dealers.
