I sold this coin (as well as all of the others in this collection) to Mr. Dean in the early-90's and I can tell you that the coin (PCGS PR68 1884 $1) in hand is even cooler. The 1899 Proof Set is otherworldly too as is the PCGS PR68 1878 Trade $1. I placed lots of amazing coins in this collection following the 1989 market collapse. I would encourage anyone who has the opportunity to view these lots to do it because there are many other really high grade specimens with killer eye appeal. If nothing else, it would be a visually rewarding experience.
