  • Nothing humble about a $20 St. Gaudens. I plan on owning one or two myself. I know nothing about grading them, so I will leave it to others.

They are beautiful coins! Very nice.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

I just had a 1908 NM Saint ( my first ) but was forced to send it back. The grade on the holder said MS64; my eyes, brain & soul were in torment when I ripped the packaging open. Looked like some cheesy, beat up shiney gold foil wrapped chocolate coin! I think someone put a rotary wire brush on it for a few secs, burnished the lady on the obverse and somehow slipped it into a fake PCGS holder.

I feel fortunate to have a refund coming on the Coin. At least I hope I have a refund coming.image

Ebay can be a dangerous place to buy Coins. Keep spreadin the word , Laura.image

P.S. Hyperion , your Coin looks much better than the "MS64" I just had.
