Is Jim Ruddy (Photograde book) still among us?

I don't know how to put this delicately, but is Jim Ruddy still living? I noticed that he is still listed as the author on the Photograde book, but I know of some other numismatic books that still have the original author listed, but an editor is the main writer because the original author is deceased. If Mr. Ruddy is still around, how active is he in numismatic circles?

    Yes! Alive and well and in touch with QDB regularly. I've spoken with him on the phone personally. I don't know what, if anything, he has brewing numismatically though.
