    I have a good joke:

    A CFO asked his accountant how he should recognize revenue from the sale of a certain product to which the accoutant replied "How do you want to recognize it?"

    Yeah, and I hear the Cubs lose money every year as well.

    You may be right:

    BUT

    May he lose it all in search of trying to buy another championship, and return the yanks to the cellar when they have to dump payroll....serves em right (and those obnoxious fans who think they are owed championships).

    My guess is that megatron is right on. Accountants can do many sneaky things with numbers.

    The Yankee accountants can probably make the books look like whatever Georgie wants them to......
