There might be more, but they wouldn't be better. The internet has helped to level the knowledge playing field between dealer and collector, and has forced shop owners to improve or perish.

capitalism at its best! Having the internet has definitely improved my knowledge. I study coins on ebay all the time if I'm not buying. The internet has allowed me access to publications like the Buffalo nickel book and Cline's SLQ book. Books my local dealer had never been able to find. Without the internet and gaining knowledge from it my collection would probably still be a mixture of circulated crap with no real goals or plans of sets and I probably would've cleaned them all. When I go to the local shop I know exactly what I'm looking for and know what coins to avoid and also know what a fair deal is if I am looking for a trade.
