Does anyone else collect the Isle of Man cat coins

My wife got hooked on these and she is about 4 away from the complete set of silver proofs. Lately she has been mentioning the gold ones, and maybe starting a set of those when she completes the current set. Just curious if anyone else collects these, they are rather nice actually if you like cats.image

I don't collect them, but I like them. I bought one of the gold ones (a Persian cat) for my ex-wife and put it in a bezel for her one year.

  • They are a great but seemingly unending series of nicely done coins. I don't collect nclt but i will scoop up any nice bronze KM 59's one penny 1980 to 83 that I run across. Of course you have to love cats. We have 3 cats that let us live with them.

I can furnish any of the Isle of Man CuNi or Silver cat crowns from 1988 through 2006 (except I am not allowed to ship the 2006s before Jan 1image). Anybody looking for specific dates should PM me.

I buy one of my nieces the 1/10oz gold one each year for her birthday.
