Opinions on the Online entry of new cards to existing sets

I was wondering what peoples opinions are about this feature. I thought that I had requested cards to be added before the deadline for inclusion in the set before this years awards period. However, they havent been added yet. It could be that I missed the deadline by a day as well. Do you get a email response stated that your request was recieved? I know you get an email when they add the cards you request.
On a side note, I was wondering if they could post somewhere what the new card additions for exisiting sets have been for the month. For example, the Favre master set is at 995. When a few new cards are added its not always easy to pick out which ones they are. Maybe they could have a PDF or something that interested people could download to see which cards had been added to sets in the month.
