My understanding was that since eBay owns PayPal, this was something concocted by PayPal for eBay purchases specifically. Is that off base? >>
Actually I think these are Ebay coupons not PayPal so they are only valid on Ebay purchases paid for with PayPal. That is how they recoupe some of the cost thru Ebay and PayPal fees paid by the seller. It is kind of funny to hear someone blame another company for not selling out to Ebay just so they can use an Ebay coupon with $25 max on their site. I wonder if he will try to use them on some other major dealer sites and swear them off as well when they fail to except Ebay coupons.
