To slab or not to slab...
I have a 1994 $2 platinum maple leaf.. I believe it's a relatively rare coin, taking it out of the bullion and into the collectible category... for those more experienced than I, is it better to leave in the original mint packaging, or should I get it graded ? sure might be nice to get an MS70 (I know that's a complete crapshoot)..
So.. what say you all ?!?!?
you have my newbie-gratitude....

I personally would get it slabbed if for no other reason than the protection a slab offers.

Scarcity and size would warrent (sp) getting it slabbed by PCGS or NGC. Though I believe that the RCM issued it in a protective plastic cointainer and a clamshell box.
I recommend that you save the original packaging and CofC so that when the time comes a collector would pay a slight premium for the whole package.
