Christmas Swap- Official Pairings set.

We've swapped pretty much all year long. Who wants to do a Christmas swap?

I think we should all get signed up by the 10th by 10:00 PM CDT and get the packages out right away so they

don't get caught up in the last minute Rush with the USPS. Opinions?image

The Official pairings are viewable below.

Essentially what happens is that everyone who wants to participate in the swap answers in here. Boom will validate (see rules posted below) the participants. He will then choose partners and post it here. You will then need to pm your partner and coordinate what the amount for the swap is. You will then communicate back and forth to see what your partners likes, dislikes are.

Please PM Boom to participate in this swap as you will have to get approval prior to partner selection if you have not participated in past swaps.

Thank you and please read the rules in the next post.

  • From the words of BOOM:

"THESE ARE YOUR BASIC RULES. ANY QUESTIONS...ASK

The rules for any and every swap that I organize always remain the same. To find these rules simply go to the opening post of any previous swap hosted by me. Next, when signing up, unless otherwise voted on by the Majority to the contrary, the MINIMUM value will be $50.00. That figure seems to work best for everyone however if you, as you sign up, would like to raise the minimum (or lower it) just state so right then and there.

Naturally, if swap mates want to agree among themselves to a higher value, there is absolutely no problem whatsoever with doing so. You must agree on what pricing guidelines you and your mate will follow and adhere to it.

If any newcomers want to partake they WILL BE thoroughly screened by yours truly and as long as I host such swaps there will NOT BE any "Hit & Run" going on around here. Newcomers will be screened, information verified and approved by me. You will be made to provide ME with a valid email address, your REAL Name (which will remain anonymous but to me ONLY should you wish to remain anonymous) AND address along with phone numbers....THAT'S JUST THE WAY IT IS AND HAS TO BE AND IS GOING TO BE.

In the event that even after I've thoroughly screened someone, he or she DOES turn out to be a con artist, not only will their Names be plastered all throughout these Message Boards/ Forums but you are looking at being prosecuted for theft and Mail Fraud. Let's hope this does NOT transpire. This sort of activity will NOT be tolerated.

OK, so go to the opening post to any past swaps I've hosted and see the Rules which are etched in stone. OK everybody, sign up and spread the word. Go out and recruit some bona fide collectors that you can vouch for. When signing up if recruited by someone, please post the person's Name that recruited you as I'll have a little Bonus Giveaway for the person that recruits the most but REMEMBER, when you DO recruit you are vouching for that person as one of Integrity and outstanding Moral Turpitude and basically standing good for that person.

I have had recent reports of "Problem swappers". I know who you are just as you know who you are and I tell you now, if it does not cease IMMEDIATELY I PERSONALLY will ban you from these swaps. Are we clear on this?"

  • Alright very cool, yea, I'll sign up for the next one, and have high moral values, but I can understand not taking just my word.

OK guys, first of all I extend my sincerest apologies for being tardy but I sorta have a lot on my plate. image

We have an even dozen "seasoned" swappers, therefore I believe we all know the rules. I DON'T need to go over them again. This is our H O B B Y.... let's enjoy it. Communication with your partner is key.

Use your heads. Insure your packages complete with Delivery Confirmation. Do NOT place unreasonable stress or strain on your partner and treat each other well. Agree on some sort of real world pricing and be equitable.

If you agree on $100...then make it $100, but the MINIMUM is $50, OK! It's Christmas and in the truest sense of the Season, GIVE as you would like to receive. OK? So, if there are no questions here are the pairings.

B00M swaps with Louie and vice versa

asnovell swaps with JohnK and vice versa

aija swaps with JimC and vice versa

Bunker swaps with Millertime and vice versa

Musky1011 swaps with Mojoman and vice versa

eyoung swaps with claychaser and vice versa.

Everyone please double check to be sure I've left no one out, CodyB complied with my request and will be permitted to swap in the next swap. Welcome Cody and thanks for being so readily communicative. Claychaer has also complied and is approved as well. I expect everything to go smoothly here so, let's make it happen.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a safe, healthy and prosperous, Happy New Year. OK, that's it. Let's roll.

Got my swap from Boom today, a beautiful set of BU war nickels in a plastic case. Got to say that these will fill a lot of holes in my albums, but will have to dispose of the case and will donate to the first person sending me their name and address as a Christmas present from me and Boom. Thanks boom and hope you get what I sent soon. Louie

Louie, you really shouldn't tamper with swap material until your partner is satisfied. That's bad news. Suppose I do not like what you send and want what I sent back? You should know better than this. Geeeez!image
  • Is it to late to get in?

Louie, do you have some Delivery Confirmation #s for me? Any useful info in tracking whatever it is you're supposed to be sending? See, taking it upon yourself, by your own words, to crack open that holder, remove the contents and start filling holes in your album BEFORE the swap was consumated is a major friggin' No-N0 !

You know Louie, I've been very patient with you and contrary to the nice email you sent I am NOT one to side with anyone. I work with and deal with the TRUTH.... and here is the truth. It actually pains me to have to post this but there is a definite pattern with you.

Way too many people have complained to me about you and yes, I can name names. In fact, if you look right above my latest post to the Christmas Swap thread I believe you will see ONE member who refuses to take part in any more swaps in which you are involved. There are MANY more as well and if they choose to get it out in the open, here is the the place.

There was the fiasco with Ajia and plenty more others including what is presently going on between you and Mojoman. If others have the GUTS to post their grievances then we may as well air it out right here and now.

You're much too old to be making the stupid mistakes you've made with me and Ajia and Mr. Dixon, mojoman and the list goes on and on. You did it with me and you did it with Ajia and God only knows how many others. How DARE you, remove top notch coins from a sealed display holder and just start filling your little album and send me the trash you did until the swap was declared satisfactory by mutual agreement?

I sent you an item that cost $110 and the value of those coins if certified would be worth a LOT more yet you send me Ike Proofs with hairlines, clad quarters and other coins with hairlines on them....JUNK, that I have no interest in at all. Now you tell me you are sending me some Morgans and that should do it....Oh Joy! I'll bet those Morgans are just as problematic IF I EVER SEE THEM.

Since you are obviously lacking in Common Frigging Sense and because there is a pattern of continual problems between you and other members, for the sake of Coin Swapping itself and the good of all involved, you are no longer welcome to participate in any more swaps. There is no sense of fair play with you. It's all about Louie and screw everybody else. Well sir, that dog won't hunt.

You are hereby banned from any and all swaps conducted by me until you can make right the many wrongs you have had with all the members you have swapped with. You WILL NOT ruin Coin Swapping because of your lack of ethics, common sense and selfishness.

I PURPOSELY took you as a partner to see for myself, firsthand, if all the grievances I have had about you were true and indeed they are. I have seen enough. I have tried to be your friend and to be fair with you and in turn you sent me trash and I am still waiting on those Morgans which you openly declare MUST BE stolen by your notorious, thieving Post Office. Right! I openly state in the Common Sense rules of swapping to have the brains not only to insure all packages but ALSO to spend a measley few cents and purchase Delivery Confirmation for Track & Confirm purposes. You seem unable to comprehend this.

Believe me, I take no joy whatsoever in doing this. Actually, I think it sucks! This is BS Louie and I have no room in my life for anymore BS. You are NOT a man of Integrity. You have proved it time and time again. I wouldn't GIVE the crap you sent me away to a kid.

Until you make things right by everyone that has had dealings with you, YOU'RE DONE!
