Seems to be a good move if it happens, would improve the Cubs overall.

Too bad some Cub fans cant take good-natured ribbing without resorting to name calling and stereotyping ALL Sox fans.

On a side note, I also read that the Cubs may trade for Soriano and Mensch.

I would like to see them get Furcal. The last few times they have made the playoffs, their lead off man was outstanding (Dernier, Walton, and Lofton come to mind...never mind about Johnson).

I also heard rumors about Todd Walker for Milton Bradley. But it seems like Bradley is nothing but trouble so I hope they pass on that one.

Soriano? I dont have a good feeling that he will be coming to Chicago.

wouldnt surprise me if he DIDNT stay with atlanta. every year since the TED left, the braves have lost key players...first it was glavine...then maddux..then lopez and sheffied...then drew and wright...heck, the braves even lost mazzone! yet, somehow...they keep managing to stay atop the NL east.

the mets are also interested in him...as are the yanks.
