Latest proof -- bidders on eBay are weird

The bidding was already a little weird on this pair when I noticed them yesterday, so I made a point to see how they ended up. Check it out:
1915 Panama Pacific International Exposition Medal started at $9.99, got 6 bids from 6 different people, and closed at $47.99.
PANAMA PACIFIC EXPO AWARD MEDAL, 1915. started at $9.99, got 11 bids from 8 different people, and closed at $96.00.
Both items were listed in the same category, and closed within 5 hours of each other. The titles were basically the same. Both had decent pictures (one was slightly better, but not much).
But: Not one of the 14 people who bid on one of the medals bid on the other -- even though 5 people bid more on the higher-priced medal than the final price of the lower-priced one.
Weird...
