This e-bay seller cleans his coins

Check this guy out

I only clean them when needed to bring out the detail through all the circulation plaque.

  • I will at least give the guy credit. He lets you know in no uncertain terms that the coin was cleaned. It seems that two thirds of the Morgans I have bought lately on eBay have been cleaned with no mention in the ad (I know little about coins, etc.).

I hear ya Ralph.... Ignorance is the NEW excuse on ebay for passing less than desireable collectible pieces.

I know nothing about coins but this one sure buffed up nice with my DREMEL image. and sandblasting cleaned out those little crevices and added a shine like it just came from the FACTORY ...ha ha ha....
  • Probably one of the honest ebayers who admits to cleaning a coin!
But you definitely can see the die clash.

Seems like a lot of work for $2...I don't get it.
  • hammerman- where the hell you been hiding?

aint seen ya in a coons age.

  • I sense a trend.
    Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

Hey Morgan Master...I was at the Pasadena show last weekend, thought you might show up but didn't see ya. Hope all's well and you still have those double rows of 65's.
