How'd the experiment go? IMO the educational aspect of having coins graded is often overlooked.

About half and half ...

Thought the India Rupee and Russia 20 Kopek were AU. I expected the Guinea 250 Francs would body bag as I purchased it still in its soft plastic mint holder and it has a little bit of haze on it as a result. I was also expecting the Mexico 1 peso to body bag as it had been stored for a long time in a cardboard holder in a plastic snap lock case and parts of the obverse are a very dark purple bordering on black from all the sulfur content.

The rest were about what I had expected, and since I am nearing 1,000 posts ... I might consider a darkside give away once these come back. Will have to decide on the coins tho' ... probably three of them and make it a suprise.
