Topps Heritage Football anyone??

I don't know if everyone knows this, but topps heritage football is out. its a nice product and may hold some of you
over until baseball. Im not sure I like the multi year design, but it looks nice. I have figured out a few sp's but have
only opened a few boxes.

The pennant box toppers are cool too..too bad there is no bucs one.

If anyone is interested in trading you know where to find me.

I got 4 boxes and am close to a complete set with SPs and Variations (the one's I know about). Just need a few more cards. I have some extras. What I have found so far is that #s 54-68 have regular version and variation. #s 70-79 have regular version and variation. Cards 300-364 are SPs and some of them have variations also. The ones I have found are: 341 , 342, 343, 344, 345, 346, 347, 348, 349, 350. 363 (has regular and 2 variations). If anyone has any further info, I'd appreciate it.

Out of the 4 boxes I got 25 different Foilboard cards (no dups), 2 Jersey cards (Steve Young & Jason Campbell), 1 feltback Shaun Alexander, 2 autos (same pack) Brandon Jones & Jerome Mathis (redemption).

The set is great. I bought a case and have a full set but need about half of the foil boards. Here is the list of what I need. I have doubles of almost every card except for Terrell Owens, I got only one in 8 boxes.

So about 2 weeks ago the clerk at Meijer convinces my lovely wife to sign up for a credit card and save an additional 20% on her total non-grocery bill. It happened to be the same day the store was offering 10% off everything. She calls me up to see if there's anything we need. Uh, light bulbs and water softener filters. Oh, and swing by the baseball card section and see if they have any Topps Heritage Football boxes. She comes home with a single box (that's all they had, she says). Well, today (Christmas) I receive a shirt box from each of my 3 kiddies. In each shirt box is a $19.99 retail box of Heritage football. Combine that with the box Santa left in my stocking, and it's 5 boxes total. Turns out she bought 5 boxes at like $14.00 each.

Well . . . I'm addicted. I thought the "multi-year" design would be dorky, but it's growing on me. There's something about opening "real cardboard". I didn't do great (Ronnie Lott jersey and B.J. Askew autograph, plus 10 chromes), but I had a blast. I'm surprised these weren't more popular given the obsession with Heritage baseball. Of course, I've never understood why Topps didn't follow up there 2001 Heritage football and basketball products, but what do I know?

Anyway, I'm off to surf ebay to work on my set. If anyone knows a good resource for any short prints / variations, please let me know.
