No, that is not the correct spot price for gold, it is still sub-$500.

Last I looked it was at $495.20, down for the day. Last night it reached over $501.

I bailed out of my bullion about a month ago at $462. Don't regret it a bit. A gold eagle is nice but it dont compare to a properly graded $462 coin. A good coin with pizzaz will knock your eye out every time and it is in demand.
