    I should have known from the date!!! ...not to mention the tabs left from where it was pre-cut from the paper.

    These were actually issued for use in teaching children how to use coins. It is merely a picture rather than stamped.

    image It got me too. When I saw it on the coinstar I thought it was a real lincoln cent. I stood there looking at it and didn't know what it was until I picked it up and even then I was puzzled for a minute as I looked it over. I must of looked pretty strange standing there image
