My first proof IHC. Pics included.

I keep becoming more and more interested by proof coinage. Copper in particular. Decided to test the waters and pick something up to see how I enjoyed it. What do y'all think? (sellers images) I have not yet seen coin in hand.

So your the one who outbid me. Congrats, it looks like I will be regretting missing out on that one. Nice coin.

I like the coin overall, but the spots, particularly those on the obverse, are not attractive to my eye.

These coins, and proof copper in general, are extremely difficult to judge with photos, so it is imperative that you get a return privilege so you have a chance to judge it in-hand.

    Hope this helps...Mike

The sellers photos look juiced to me. I think the coin will prove to be much darker in and not vibrant in hand.

Very, very, difficult to find nice copper pieces. I'd definately only purchase from reputable folks who deal strictly is this material. Good Luck! Now more competitionimageimage

I think it is...the PF62 one. PutTogether....please let us know your thoughts when you get the coin in hand image
And your pics if you can.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

It is indeed the one great toning was selling. Is he known for accurate pics? I've had one dealing with him in the past, and he seemed like a great guy.
  • It's tough to tell from the photos. The toning looks nice. If it's proof 62 it will have some noticeable hairlines and some flat areas in the fields.

More competition on toned IHC's! Darnit!image
