It is supposed to be a Roman Quadrigatus (or didrachm) from the late 3rd century BC. It looks a bit odd - and repos of these are around - but its hard for me to tell from the scan (and its way outside of my area of early 4th century AD folles).
Always interested in St Louis MO & IL metro area and Evansville IN national bank notes and Vatican/papal states coins and medals!
I took the coin out the holder and I think it is a fake. My daughter bought it yesterday for 14 bucks and figured she would take a chance. Oh well, live and learn, right?
