Through nearly 4 years of playing, he has a grand total of 16 touchdowns! Woo hoo! 4 a year...let's pull out the HoF wagon for him!

And despite the east coast's media bias, when's the last time a NY team not named the yankees won something? What about Philly (ooh, sore subject I know)...yet we are inundated NONSTOP with how great these teams are!

Most California teams have trouble selling out. Then of course they really sell out and leave, a la the Rams, and Raiders.
The Niners have a practically deaf-mute crowd. Guess it's not proper to raise your voice in 'Frisco.
The Dodgers, Giants and Angels don't do much better. The seats are empty when the teams lose.
Basketball is a little better in LA, but then you have the Clippers also. The Kings, well it's Northern Cali again, don't raise your voice.
Hockey? Enough said.
Come to the East Coast where we buy tickets even to see losing teams, yell till we lose our voice, then come back next week.

you my friend are a dumba$$. I live in california. Go to a angels game, sold out, try to get lakers tickets sold out unless you want to pay bank from a broker. Clippers games are also selling out. But then again your a philly fan. Where you root for teams that haven't won championships in who knows how long. Closest you have been was last year and when the sixers got smacked around by the L.A lakers.

Uhm the Raiders were originally from OAKLAND, moved to LA in a money grab by Al Davis, then back to Oakland in yet another money grab...at no point past or present have the Raiders been hurting for fans....and if you'd like, I'd love to see you wander into a Raiders game in Oakland (preferably the Black Hole) and tell those folks they aren't 'real fans' (whatever the hell that means). I'll notify your next of kin if you plan on doing that. Raider fans are as intense as ANY in the NFL...good or bad, they are ravenous football nuts.
As far as the Rams, can you really blame people for not wanting to sit and watch an NFL game for 4 hours in southern california when it's 75 degrees and the sun is shining? Hey, did you know there was a football team in Baltimore BEFORE the Ravens? Yep, the Colts bolted the almighty east coast looking for more revenue, just like the Rams did. So let's leave teams moving out of it, mmkay?

Really? SBC has been rated by most experts as the BEST baseball experience in all of the land, and the fan base is ALWAYS there, whether you'd like to admit it or not. Same for Edison Field....good crowds every night. No they don't sell out, but because they don't have tiny bandboxes (a la Fenway and it's sub-40k seating), they aren't going to. LA, see my point above...who wants to sit watching sports every night in 90 degree heat in LA when you have the beach and countless other diversions? Just because there is a multitude of attractions in California, doesn't make the fans here any less devoted.

Sacramento, are you nuts (well I knew it, but I thought I'd let you in). They have sold out arenas EVERY night, and have since they moved to Sac from KC. They are widely regarded as the LOUDEST arena in all the land, and their passion for their Kings is unmatched. You bringing up the Kings just proves how completely uninformed you are on the topic of west coast fan bases.

Just because there is nothing else to do outdoors (not many beaches worth going to, no skiing, not much outdoors activities at all in the east), doesn't mean the fan bases there are any more devoted than the ones on the west coast.
