<< <i>Hey Lucy,what would you grade that '46-S? Thanks!
Hayden >>
I think it has a good shot at a ms66fb.....
but PCGs has been brutal with me and dimes, whether they be Roosies or Winged Libertys...
The 46s has wonderful eye appeal, the color is very nice... The problem is if this one slips into a 5 holder then the value
doesn't justify the grading fee... Although the color IMO should warrant a strong price. In the blown up images you can see some
minor hits on the lower cheek/chin. On the actual coin these are very tough to see.... The Reverse is nicer then the single image found on the Ebay auction, it has nice golden rim toning, I chose to show two Obverse images as opposed to more Reverse images..
The coin is a lovely raw GEM and a Dansco album or any album would be a lovely home for it... As far as sumbitting it to PCGs, it could grade very nice making this one a bargain or they might beat it up. Who knows anymore...
Alot of these raw toners have been in my albums for years and or in flips that I had purchased a long time ago....
I enjoyed them, now its time to let others enjoy them....

Thanks for the info Lucy,I think I might take a shot at it.
I like the toning, not concerned about the grade (or expected grade).
Let's 'get it on'!

Augie, that coin is going in my Dansco!
It definitely is a pretty coin,I don't think I'd risk certification though...

Hopefully people will just think it's AT,I know I would probably never buy a raw toner off eBay if it wasn't from a seller I knew. At least with Lucy, you know they've been in albums for years...
Got my snipe set...
