It is in the November 7th issue. It sayd some guy in Ohio found the possible doubled Nickels in all 3 of his Westward Journey Nickel Sets. It says "The variety displays its doubling best on ERTY of LIBERTY and RUST of TRUST with prominent split serifs on the RU of TRUST." It also says the J in the artists initials, the 200 in the date and on the P mintmark and lighter doubling on the 5 and on poortions of IN GOD WE.
Not to worry, dlimb2, the nickels in the Westward Journey sets are saitn finish whereas I've only been ruining inexpensive bankrolled non-satin finished ones.
<< <i>Mr Spud, are you any relation to Tater Salad from Des Moines? >>
Is that the comedian who has the alias of Tater Salad on file in Prison? I love that story he tells about it . Not related to him that I know of, although I probably share more than 90% of his genetics

He's Ron White...he is a funny man with Foxworthy and that group So, Mr Spud...your not telling your AT secret? They look neat but AT Rob
I don't think it has been officially declared a double die yet because I just searched VarietyNickels.com and the Coneca website and there was no mention of it. I checked my Westward Journey sets and there is no doubling. I'll have to take a look at my satin finish mint sets too though.

I'd hate to see a bunch of them looking like that on Ebay next week because I published how to do it on an open forum. I'm worried because some of them look a little bit like they came out of Wayte Raymond albums and I wouldn't want to make the TPG's afraid to slab real Wayte Raymond ones.

<< <i>There was a story in Coin World about it about a month ago. I'll try and find it again to see what it said. >>
