I don't collect Barbers, so please educate me here: According to the Red Book, wouldn't the 1892-O, 1892-S, or 1897-S be regarded as "The King" of the series, at least in circulated grades? Thanks for your help.

The 04-s is a real buggar in higher circ grades. I don't know if it's even available in any UNC grades. But the price curve on this thing is pretty much straight up as it passes from vg to f and above.
The 04-S is listed as an R-5 rarity in the Complete Guide to Barber Halves by David Lawrence in Fine condition. The only coin rarer in this condition is the 92-micro O, at an R-8.
