A PSA 9 1971 Munson copy sold a few months ago for about $5,800. Any idea what a PSA 8 would sell for, if they ever came up for auction?

I am working on finally getting my PSA 8 - it willcost me $500.....It is VERY hard to fine one...

If I remember correctly, the two owners
that I know of are EOMINT (he bought
offline from Chris Renaud) and REDSPYDER
who got it on eBay earlier this year from
Rockbottomsports.

Budget $700 for your PSA 8 and hope it's a nice card. Some 71 PSA 8's are just downright gross.

I find that a lot of the 71 card appear overgraded. A very hard issue with the black borders and all. I am too picky to collect 71's. With other more recent issues you can find a lot of 7's and 8's that are very serviceable cards with good eye appeal. The 7' and 8's from 71 often leave me shaking my almost empty head!
