Master player sets on the registry

Just curious, how do people decide which cards to suggest to be added to the master lists? The reason I'm asking is because I have a few of those Cadaco baseball games from 1989-91, that have the baseball player discs in them and I got to thinking "I wonder if some of the Master Player sets include these?". Well, I looked on some of them, such as Nolan Ryan and Wade Boggs, and didn't see these discs included. Are they even items that PSA would grade? They seem to be the same size as the Crane discs and such. Have any player set owners tried submitting them? Are they even considered collectible items?

    The pop report shows that there have been a few of these graded ('89 Carter/Brett/Schmidt and '91 Bonds), and all four are included in their respective master sets.
