Cool! I could replace one of the Flying Eagle or Shield nickel buttons with that. One of the six buttons on the vest is an Indian cent with a hole in the middle, but it's the only "natural" holey in the buttons. The rest I had to cheat on and drill myself. I used some frightening Flying Eagle cents and Shield nickels that a detector buddy had found. Tumbled 'em in a rock tumbler to clean 'em up and then drilled 'em. They were pretty horrid, so drilling them was only a misdemeanor.

Trouble with that Bolivian piece is, I don't do Yahoo. Maybe I should.

I do have a George II halfpenny and a US Nova Constellatio copper that have square nail holes in the middle, but they're a little big to use as buttons.

Should be easy enough ... I have bid on several pieces after pointing them out to Mad Marty and he hasn't bid against me yet. Should have some nice Peru 1/2 Sols coming in within the next few days as a result ... image
