The obverse is amazing, but the reverse is a little too spotty for my tastes.

Legend's site drives me crazy. Nice coins, but geez you would think the coins would sell themselves without the overabundance of hype. Sometimes I feel like checking out their site, but then I remember you need a shovel to get through it.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, is what I say !

I reserve my opinion without coin in hand, but since it is graded by NGC, I am inclined to believe it is overgraded, so my money would stay in my pocket at 3G's for this particular specimen.

I will say, I just looked over their inventory and this one is more appealing to me without a picture :

LINCOLN CENT Coin Number : 9677

1909 S VDB PCGS MS-64 RD GORGEOUS COLOR!

Spectacular color and very highend quality! Both sides blaze with an intense lustre. The lustre highlights gorgeous shades of original Mint Red and a mixture of violet/gold toning (not to be confused with the coin turning RB). The surfaces are also quite clean. Lincoln and all of the details are sharply struck and bold in appearance. This coin is real eye candy!
Pop. PCGS / NGC ON HOLD
    $3875.00

I like it, but as above I'm not a fan of the spots.

The toning isn't worth the premium, and I think the coin is overgraded by at least a point.

I notice they use the term Godzilla a lot to describe coins.

I think I'll hold out for a King Kong.
