PCGS and VAM sub-varieties.

I have an 1887-O VAM 22B Morgan silver dollar unattributed and in a PCGS MS-62 holder. I see on the list of VAMs that PCGS is now attributing and holdering the VAM 22A (Top 100) variety of this coin. This is the DDO and Pitted Reverse. My example (VAM 22B) not only exhibits these features but includes a die clash which reveals the "G" in God and the "t" in Trust from the reverse onto the obverse. This is an R-6 coin. Any idea if PCGS would reholder the coin as a 22B sub-variety? Or just as a 22A? Might the rarity be a factor in titling the holder? There are many other sub-varieties which would fall under this question.

They will only do the ones on the list. As a seller of the coin, you will have to say which one it really is. As an example, for the 1921S, they only list VAM 1B, however, there are 7 different die states.
