Online gold coin dealers?

Hi,

It's hard for a newbie to identify the key dealers, and I was wondering if you could take a look at this list and add anyone I might have missed (at least among the larger, most established dealers). I'm not looking for bullion specialists.

Also, if anyone in this list is *not* trustworthy, feel free to say so here or by IM.

I am a regular buyer of gold coins from Pinnacle (via Doug Winter, who is a Pinnacle partner). They have not yet been mentioned but are very strong in 19th and 20th century gold.

The list looks pretty solid, although I am not familiar with Duvallgold. You can never go wrong, with David Lawrence.

Duvallgold (Duane Mock) is an ebay-based seller of generic gold. I have purchased coins from Duane in the past and have even sold him a few. He is a good guy.

Heritage and 'Duvall could probably get you the best pricing on generics. Duvall gets strong prices via ebay. If it were me, I'd try to deal with them behind the scenes and set up a trading relationship. You'll get a better rate and better quality imo.

Really depends on what type of gold you are going after.

i just scoped out duvall. if the coins are like what is posted then its a close 3 way tie with jjtea and djw . i like what duvall is selling prices seem to be on the lower side. does alot with NGC over PCGS. ( maybe just right now it is like that). but i like how the coins look.

After my first couple ebay purchases from Duane, I dealt with him directly (ie outside ebay). He is in the RYK Circle of Trust™ .

I bought a number of gold coins from Duvall as I first started trying out ebay. But the field is much more competitive now and people pay strong for his service and integrity....and it's obviously worth it. I know of no other ebay gold dealer with his excellent rep for and honesty and fair dealing.

Due your due diligence in the market place first. Even among your list of the better on line dealers you can get a wide disparity in pricing and value regardless of the descriptions attached. You still have to be the final judge of the value.
