Cowboys - lose
Giants - lose
Redskins - lose
Eagles - win
I'm not saying yet that the Eagles will get back into the playoffs this season, but we're not out of it yet and after this weekend the race will definitely be closer.
Go Eagles!!!!!

You're right of course. I'm just taking things one week at a time. The Eagles will beat Green Bay, and those other NFC East teams all look like losers for this week.
I'm hopeful that McMahon starts looking good...and real quick. Improbable? Yes, I'll admit it but in the "crazy" NFC, I think almost anything is possible.
Go Eagles!!!!!
I actually like McMahon. He almost threw for 300 yards last week which is tough as I have seen Orton not come near that week after week. I liked him when he was the back up in Det. and obviously the Eagles staff like him enough to put him ahead of Detmer after he filled in well last year. I really do think McMahon will be OK which is why they haven't brought in Stewart or some other shlub that's out there. i think Reid has confidence in him, which is good, and I think they willl be ok.

I'll admit that I was thinking about how Orton has done as maybe an "indicator" of the possibility that McMahon could get the job done. Used to be it took years for virtually all quarterbacks to acclimate themselves to the speed and pressure of a real NFL game. It still takes time but it seems it doesn't always take as much time as it used to. And McMahon has already been in a number of NFL games...so there's some hope...not much hope...but some hope.

Yes it is .... plus, no one is going to beat the Colts anyway.
I am not at all worried about next season either.
The Giants are going to win the division, and Tatum Bell/Mike Anderson will run over the cowboys tomorrow. At least NFC East fans can share a hatred for the boys, especially the fans who are not from dallas.

Your Eagles are done, your seasons over so you might as well just keep quiet untill next season and stop trying to act like your still in this thing please
You Eagle fans talked so much smack before the season escpecially when i tried to tell you guys that the Cowboys had closed the gap ( and boy did they ) . All i kept hearing was about how Bledsoe couldn't get it done because " he has no mobility " and sack this and sack that. Well guess what, Bledsoe tore you guys up the first time we met you and as we speak i believe he's the NFC's highest rated passer and should make the Pro Bowl for the NFC . This has been an absolutely nightmare of a season for you guys and the window for you to win a S.B has officially shut **thud**
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL ( even to all my little Beagle fans )
P.S please tell me the rumor of you guys signing R Cunningham is not true
Who's he? I don't remember him.
I, and most if not all Eagles fans will not stop hoping and rooting for a playoff spot unless we are mathematically eliminated. I'm not optimistic, just hopeful. Just a loyal, glutten for punishment, Eagles fan is me - I should seek psychiatric help for this affliction - LOL.
<< <i>cardcore .... tell me something I don't know. If not, big deal - the Eagles season is over, and with it a higher pick next year, a last place schedule, and a nucleus still intact. >>
Those "last place" schedules are not what they used to be with the way teams in the NFL turn around now. Look at the Giants schedule and tell me that it is a LAST PLACE schedule. Far from it ...

Good call - the usual CU jinx of posting the outcome of the game before the game is over.

Yea, Seattle or Denver...what's the difference? - at least you got it right in that both teams are out west.

hey dallas lost today bc they fvcking missed a fg to probably seal the deal!!!!!
im not happy about this team right now but i think we will back our way into the playoffs the last week at home when we play the sorry a$$ rams!
then i dont know... we are good enough to win we just need more time!

The schedule for next year is set.
NFC and AFC South teams plus 2(?) NFC West games, and the divisional opponents.
Put on your rubber panties now Stalin. The Eagles have a score to settle with the Sucs and will humiliate them in their own stadium. Maybe you and I can see the game together? I'll try to keep my wife from b!tc# slapping you as the Eagles run over the Gay Pirates.

As for the naysayers. How many teams have won six games straight late in the season? How many teams have started slow and then won 9 or 10? It's not unheard of and the Philly fans will keep the faith until it's really over.
Perhaps after the last two weeks you are slightly apprehensive? Perhaps the underdog kicks butt story scares you a bit?
Injuries? McMahon out performed the unmotivated rich boy Simms last week. The back up center may just start next year after his run blocking show in the last two games. The secondary is deep and Sheppard gets burned too much anyway.
Keep the heat on. We enjoy it.

what the hell are you talking about. I meant i see seattle easily beating the giants. Im guessing you just had one to many to drink last nite seeing as your eagles blow more than a porn star.
Nope - I was completely sober, which occurs every once in a while - LOL. I see now you were actually agreeing...sorry for the misinterpretation!
<<< eagles blow more than a porn star >>>
I'll even agree with this during the last 4 weeks. But there's still hope...starting this Sunday against Green Bay. Since 1990, nine teams have been 4 - 6 and made it into the playoffs so maybe the Eagles will be the tenth. Unlikely but maybe.
Unlike those such as joestalin who when their football team starts losing a little bit, quickly gives up and finds something else to root for such as some European Soccer League team...us Eagles fans never give up. Ever!
Go Eagles!!!!!

Thanks man! I've always said that the Giants are a class organization with great fans. That is appreciated even though you know that I know how "hopeless" it is for the Eagles this season. Way too many injuries for any logical chance to get back to the Super Bowl. But I even root for the Eagles even when they get eliminated from the playoffs - unfortunately it's an old habit gotten from many past years of losing
