Any update to the big changes being made at the American Numismatic Society?

In a previous post, I think it was Legend that indicated that big changes were being made at the ANS. Supposedly the organization was going to get more average-collector friendly, do things differently, etc. I tried to do a search to find the thread, but I came up dry. Does anyone have an update to these supposed changes?

Yes, they are now also serving beer at their chic annual event.
