Help!! My computer skills are horrible - how do you attach a photo

I would appreciate it if someone could tell me how to attach a photo to a forum message.

The photo is stored on my hard drive in My Pictures. What do I need to do to attach to a message posting?

Thanks for the info. Only problem I have is that the picture is too big. It took up 186kb vs. the 50kb maximum your message references.

Any thoughts on how to squeeze it down?

You need image editing software. If it's too large, you can shrink the size. If it's a less compressed format like a .GIF, you can convert it to JPG with the software. If it's already a JPG, you can shrink it somewhat by reducing the quality somewhat.

Good news is that I have the picture down to 45kb -- though it is not as sharp as original.

Bad news is that I got hung up with loading instructions. When I go to Customize, I can't find WYS/WYG editor.

Any suggestions.
