1975 Topps PSA 8 set - what's an approximate price?

What's an approximate fair market price on an all PSA 8 graded 1975 Topps set. A range would be fine.

  • I bought a 8.3 for 6250.00 It had the Yount and Brett in 9. I took what nines I needed and sold the rest of what I could. Broken up you may get 4-5 for it on ebay. personally I think a straight 8 is work about 3500. Just my opinion

Unfortunately, there's a wide gap between a "fair price" for a PSA 8 set and what the market will bring. Using Stump's guess at $3500 for a straight 8 set, that works out to just $200 above the grading fees - assuming $5/card for grading. You may be able to pick up a raw 75 set in say EX/MT for $200 - but you'd probably need to pony up $1000 or more for a raw set where every card is in strict NM/MT condition.
