The two newest additions to my Frankie set.... Opinions? (GRADES POSTED)

These two are on their way. I can't wait to see them in hand. Thanks ajia.

    Excellent Franklins good toning. Those two would make any owner proud! I'm guessing that the 56 is MS64, the 57 is 65 FBL - the 57 has a crisp strike.

    Well, close. I would have thought the two cheek hits and the two bell hits on the '56 would keep it from MS65 - can't really tell from that foto if the bell lines are full.

    I agree that the '57 is MS65 - does the hit on the reverse at 5:00 (across the bell lines) keep it from FBL? I missed that originally (no doubt distracted by the overall beauty of the coin!

    I'm not sure what keeps it from FBL. NGC has always been tough on giving toned Frankies the FBL designation.
