My oldest is a 1776 Spanish 2 Reales that I found detecting at a one-room school site. It is also an old Indian camp site which is probably where it came from.

My oldest US coin with a readable date is an 1829 half dime, though I have found a Draped Bust cent (ca. 1796-1807). Sadly, it is too corroded to read the date on. In fact, after I over-electrolysized it, it is really no longer recognizable as much of anything.

Well I shouldn't but the oldest "coin" is debatable....this Bronze age ring money is my oldest find of money.
    dating to about 1500 BC.

The next oldest would be the full stater I found last weekend, which dates to 150-100BC.
