Texas and LSU play on Friday and they are both heavy favorites.

Any chance of both of them losing? image

Was at that MSU vs Penn State game, everytime MSU looked like they were coming back, they would do something stupid like throw an interception or get some penalties. Just could never keep up with Penn State, hats off to you!..

Penn state # 3 in bcs!! If ucla beats usc penn state will play for the title!

    COME ON UCLA!!
  • usc would fall that much if usc lost to a 9-1 team? IONO even if usc loses i still think they get in.

I think even if USC loses to UCLA, they play UT for the national title game.

A loss this late in the season could be devastating to SC's shot ... happened to the Irish back in the day when they lost to BC, after they whooped FSU ... who still played for the National Championship

  • Khulman, even if USC loses you still need LSU to lose to get in the Rose bowl. They will almost certainly jump Penn St in the BCS with a win over Georgia in the SEC championship game. VA Tech has a good chance of jumping Penn St too, with an impressive win over Florida St in the ACC title game. But I tend to agree with RandyMoss84 as well. If USC loses they still may not fall past #2. They should but they won't because USC vs Texas is the game everyone wants to see.

OK for you guys back east. UCLA will come no where close to beating USC. The two teams are in different leagues. Fresno State had the best chance and could not pull it off. Contrary to what the Polls say Fresno State is Number 2 on the West Coast and this is coming from a Very Loyal Oregon Duck Fan. Oregon is number 3 In my opinion.

    <<< Penn state # 3 in bcs!!

We need a little bit of luck to be playing for the national championship so I'm just keeping my fingers crossed. But whatever the results from here on out - it's icing on what has already been a very tasty cake of a season for Penn State Football.

<<< If ucla beats usc penn state will play for the title! >>>

    That is absolutely correct.

you think fresno states running game was good against that weak sauce usc defense. Wait till maurice drew gets a hold of them. We almost pulled it off last year vs a much better usc defense, ucla lost nobody. Drew's got better. Oregon is overrated. State is a tough team.

Its too bad that UCLA did not play Fresno State this year. If they would have this minor regional question would have a answer. You say Oregon is over rated well I think the same about UCLA. Hopefully during Bowl Season the two teams will prove us both wrong and just jump up and kick the teams they play.

    USC
    STATE
    OREGON
    UCLA

You have to admit this is quite different than what was forcased at the start of the season.

One thing I know for certainty is that nothing is certain in sports let alone college football. We seem to forget that these are young kids and teams get better or worse as the season progresses due to learning the system, developing into better players and injuries so its a what have you done lately for me scenario especially in the polls. If either team USC or Texas loses I don't think they will play in the BSC championship. Penn State could benefit with the lets give Joe one more chance in the coaches poll and Harris Poll. Of course this is the guy who took 4 years to realize that Robinson should be his quarterback.

This may be the greatest USC-UCLA match up since 1969.

As for Texas, they will mostlikely beat A&M, however with great rivalries and National Championships on the line, it becomes more problematic.

Penn State is good, but USC is probably the better team.

If USC survives the UCLANS, then they will be National Champs again.

exactly! where were these fans when the lions kept on losing? lol@bandwagon fans. The real question is, when Joe Pa does NOT get into the NC game who will he play? he wants no part of the seminoles and bowden!
