since everybody seems to be quoting cu's price guide

should pcgs put a disclaimer on their price guide that it is only for pcgs graded coins in pcgs slabs. I know that it's not completely accurate with all current trends but too many sellers on ebay use the guide for raw coins and 3rd tier grading services

a lot of people dislike this...

  • It's nice to try to help people, but at some point you can only protect people from THEMSELVES for so long. I remember listening to a guy at work rant about the fact he overpaid for his van. He was going to call the state attorney general. I told him if he was too lazy to do ANY research about such a major purchase, he can't complain about getting screwed.

I figure I've "paid" about $1500 so far getting an "education" about coins. Oh well!
