State Quarter Mint Bags....

Has any one ever had any luck searching those $25 Dollar Mint sewn bags that
the Mint sells?
I have a few from 2000 and don't know if I should break them to maybe find something
worthwhile.
I wouldn' think they would be as nice as ones from one out of rolls....but maybe errors?

I went through a bag. Overall it wasn't worth opening. Bank rolls are best.

Went through a bag of Maryland and Connecticut to no avail. No errors, No gems, No 66's or up.
Went through a US MINT ROLL or two or three and there is where your best coins will be found, or else in the mint set or one of the many individual offerings from the mint.

I also did find it rather interesting in the last roll of West Virginia quarters from the US Mint, I had 3 P mints in the D roll. Someone figure that one out for me.

The six bags I had from 2000, I opened. Nothing special. Just spending money. But, it is like the lottery. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.

I've done twenty or so bags from 2000-1 and some were junk and a few had gems. Saved all the 67's and up and made two(3 ringed) binders full of pages. Had two graded at random and 7's they were BTW. You know you have a good bag when the coins stick to your fingers because the reeds are so sharp.

I would save them till the run is over and see where the prcie goes.
Need something designed and 3D printed?

Thanks for the input...I'll sit on 'em for awhile. Save them to look through on a rainy day.image
