Not likely to happen but has anyone else seen the reports that Ichiro wants out of Seattle? Will the Mariners give him his trade? Where will he end up?

I've never seen anything to that end...he's beloved in Seattle, and it's a perfect location for him and the Japanese press that still follows him in droves.

Seattle would lose tons and tons of public support if they let Ichiro go.

I know I know...dont believe everything you read BUT...what I did read is that Ichiro wants to go to a contending team. Big surprise? I dont think so. Who doesnt?
Ichiro will go no where until his contract is up, which is....????
He's no Cal Ripken...he isnt going to stay because he loves the city. So I guess we will know when that time comes because I figure the Mariners will hold on to him for dear life. There's no one else who puts butts in the seats like Ichiro.
