I have been looking for a nice 1939 Dominican Republic peso for a while. Picked this one up and I having a tough time telling if it's been cleaned or it's a a nice VF coin. Opinions...

It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

    A very nice design but the coin has been cleaned. There appears to be obverse hairlines that are likely related to a cleaning.

    Going back on Monday!!! Damn, this is one of the toughest coins to find. I have had 3 and all of them had been cleaned!!
