OK. I finally got my scanner working again so I thought I'd post some stuff.
> 1964 Roosevelt (where's the old silver?!)
> 18K honker of a chain... think Demodigger called it a "Mr. T chain" (bad news
is that it's marked 18K - GF = "gold filled" )
> A few wheats (oldest = 1920-S)
> A Holy Moley Medal (alluminum miraculous medal = gave a zinc signal but was
6 inches deep and I suspect a zinc turns to nothing by that depth)
> Military coat button (gave a nice quarter signal, back is corroded so I can't
read any markings, but I think it may be WWI era... anyone know how to
determine WWI vs. WWII buttons other than the back markings?)
and
> 1907 Indian Head (nice and green... picture doesn't do it justice)
Hope everyone is well. I know... due to the weather, it's now up to the
West Coasters to start posting some good stuff...
HH,
Rick
here's a close-up but still can't see it as clear as I'd like...
