Anyone do business with Spink's?

Do they generally realize higher or lower end results from their auctions? Any other input?
Everything I write is my opinion.

Looking for alot of crap.

I would not specifically bid on any of their material unless I or a trusted agent viewed the material first.

In the last few years Spink has auctioned a good amount of material that has been off the market for 30-100 years. The Yanks would call it "fresh" material. That little gold piece had been off the market for about 1000 years. Then again, IMO, I'm still not sure that wasn't a clever deception.

I've dealt with them, but only bought coins from their inventory.

In the last 2 years I haven't seen much of interest in their offerings. The better material is generally early milled or hammered. As to pricing, I don't keep up with pre-1800 coins.
