stevek at 4-5 might be time to get mcnabb healthy for next year? 0-3 in the division and no signs of running the table? maybe they should give mcnabb surgery and get ready to draft a real running back and wr.

I would like to see McNabb get the surgery - no need for him to play with the pain anymore. As far as a real running back, we got one. The Eagles need someone to compliment him. Definitely would like to see another WR. I like Lewis and Brown's upside, and Pinkston will be back. Reggie Wayne would like nice.

    They aren't done yet ...

    1420 and stevek,

Your sig lines look horrible. Thank goodness I did not sell my soul to the devil.

I still love the birds! They should of kept T.O. but that is ok. I still think they will be fine at some point.

    Neal,

I bought a McNabb new McFarlane figure with the black jersey. I had the old green one but
this looked neat. McNabb looks a lot heavier in the new issue. Also, picked up the new Favre
figure too. So the Eagles are still tops in my eyes. Go Birds.

P.S. How long to you guys gotta suffer with that Cow-girl sig pic. YUK!!image

I'm on the fence with Reggie Wayne. I'm not sure if he is that good or in the right place right now.
He will command big money and I don't think they will pay it. The Birds would be better served
paying for another middle linebacker and a pass rushing DE. They need help on defense for sure.
They could use another back and will get one but will not break the bank is my guess.

I say let's get some high impact defensive help!

It looks as though McNabb will at least be out of the next game. Yes, he should get the surgery now. It's going to be very tough to leapfrog over 3 teams to win the division at this point especially with two losses to Dallas. A wildcard of course is still possible but things have to be looked at also in the context of next season.

Probably McMahon will start the next game with Detmer of course as the number two who would come in very quickly if McMahon falters. Honestly - it's going to be very, very difficult now to get into the playoffs with a McMahon or a Detmer as quarterback considering all the other offensive problems the Eagles have. Reid might think that lightening could strike twice with McMahon doing what AJ Feeley did in the 2002 season - highly unlikely - this is a different situation.

I'll never give up on the season until the Eagles are mathematically eliminated but sadly and realistically it's basically over for this season so again...McNabb may as well get the surgery now.

only a few more days ...

McMahon could surprise, as the only thing the g-men have on the Eagles is a better record

I'd take both the Giants recieving corps and their backs over the Eagles's
